Massage and Acupuncture FAQs
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most people feel little to no pain. The needles are very thin, and you may feel a slight tingling or warmth at the insertion points.
How often should I get a massage?
This depends on your goals—weekly for chronic pain, monthly for maintenance, or as needed for relaxation.
Do I need to undress for acupuncture and/or massage?
Only to your comfort level. You will be covered with a towel, and only the area being worked on will be exposed. So wearing loose clothing or easy to changeable clothes helps.
